Get former PM Imran Khan’s eyes checked and talk to children on phone

Islamabad. The Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued an order regarding the health of former PM Imran Khan and to facilitate conversation with his family. The court has directed the officials to get Imran Khan’s eyes examined by a qualified eye specialist by February 16, and has also directed to talk to Imran’s family over phone. While hearing the petition on humanitarian grounds filed by Imran Khan, the Supreme Court has given clear instructions to the jail administration, giving priority to Imran Khan’s health.
According to media reports, the court directed that there should be no delay in eye examination and has set a deadline of February 16 for this. The specialist doctor will examine the condition of Imran’s eyes and advise appropriate treatment if needed. The court has respected not only the health but also the human rights of Imran Khan. The court has ordered the authorities to give permission and facility to Imran Khan to talk to his children on phone. This is a big emotional relief for Imran, who has been in jail away from his family and children for a long time.
Let us tell you that former PM of Pakistan Imran Khan was arrested in 2023 and since then he is in jail. His wife Bushra Bibi is also in jail. PTI claims that Imran Khan’s health is deteriorating and he needs medical examination.
